Where is Jerusalem?

It is Amazingly Located Where 3 Continents Meet!

Where is Jerusalem located? Good question!

Where is Jerusalem

Many wonder where it is located, and are amazed to learn that the location of Jerusalem is where 3 continents meet - Asia, Africa and Europe. This makes the Jerusalem location unique!

Israel is located in the Middle East. Israel resides near the Mediterranean sea, and has many beautiful beaches thanks to that. It is surrounded by Arab countries only.

Jerusalem is the capital of Israel and is one of the oldest and holiest cities in the world. Jerusalem is located pretty much in the center of Israel - it is located in the Judean Mountains, between the Mediterranean Sea and the Dead Sea. Jerusalem has a population of over 750,000 residents.

It's elevation is about 800 meters above sea level. It is 70 kilometers south-east of Tel Aviv (which means that it is not a long ride from the Ben Gurion Air Port - Israel's international airport that is located just near Tel Aviv (there is no international airport in Jerusalem). Jerusalem's central location makes it ideal for many locals and tourists as it is close to many attractions in Israel: Tel Aviv, the Dead Sea, the Judean desert, Masada and more. It is not too far from the Galilee either (well, Israel is a small country)...

It's central location makes it easy to get to Jerusalem from anywhere else in the country. Public transportation to Jerusalem is very good, and you can also get there by car, taxi and even by train from Tel Aviv (although the train ride is very long (about 2.5 hours!).

By the way, one of the places on the globe that are the farthest away from Israel is New Zealand. I've traveled there and enjoyed every minute of it! Check out this site: New Zealand Travel Experiences: Transport solutions influence the outcome of your New Zealand travel immensely. Decide and plan with all that is on offer. Hiking or cycling jump to mind in a country whose trademark is nature. Though often New Zealand tourists want to see it all on their once in a life time journey. Therefore bus, train, or self driving holidays move into the centre of interest. Find out more about options, country, and people.
